What to Expect in Therapy
When life takes a bad turn, you begin to realize just how rough the terrain has been for a while. You've already been doing the best you can, but something still needs to change.

A counsellor joins you where you are. Not to push or to fix, but to help you find solid ground, reorient your path, and equip you for the heart’s journey home. This work is about restoring your true self so that life can flow like a river, not chase you like an avalanche.

Drawing on a thoughtful blend of therapeutic approaches, including Attachment Theory, Depth Psychology, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), together we cultivate a trauma-informed space where healing, growth, and self-revelation can unfold safely and naturally.

This journey isn’t about striving to do more. It’s about discovering what’s ready to change and learning to let go of what no longer serves.

With a Master’s in Counselling and membership in professional associations like the Christian Counsellors Association (CCAA) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation (PACFA), I bring professional expertise, psychological insight, and deep empathy to our work together.

Whether you’re navigating a difficult life transition, working through issues arising from trauma, or simply needing space to reconnect and feel—counselling can help.
Every journey begins with a step
What People Are Saying

Emily
Andrew listened with genuine care and asked questions that helped me find peace in old pain. Without pushing advice, he gently guided me into deeper integration. It was nourishing in ways I didn't expect.

Jane
Andrew is deeply understanding and easy to talk to, creating a safe space to process trauma and feel genuinely heard. His parts-based approach has given me lasting self-awareness and helped me heal in ways I never thought possible.

Philip
Andrew held space with wisdom and grace. His use of metaphor and story helped me unlock what I couldn’t reach alone. As a fellow man of faith, I found our sessions both meaningful and masterfully guided.

Timothy
Andrew's counselling helped me more than any self-help book I've ever read. Our sessions were deeply fruitful. I'm especially grateful for how he worked with my values and beliefs—meeting me where I was. He has a rare gift.
Meet the Counsellor

My Journey
I’ve walked alongside many people who wrestled with God in the dark and persevered through painful seasons of life. Different backgrounds, different stories—but beneath the surface, a pattern emerged. The same thresholds. The same turning points. The same ache for wholeness and connection.

Over time, I began to trace the shape of it—through study, conversation, prayer, practice, and presence. What emerged wasn’t a formula, but a reorientation. An approach to therapy that’s biblically aligned, psychologically grounded, and deeply relational.

This isn’t ordinary counselling. It’s soul work. It’s learning to turn toward what’s been pushed aside, to rewrite the story beneath the symptoms, and to return—slowly and steadily—to the genuine self.

In every session, we hold space for what’s unfolding, we listen with our whole selves, and we trust the slow, faithful process of healing. I walk with people, not only into richer insight, but into deeper, inner change.
